Here are just a few of the moments I treasure with Lillie.......Warning: This is a mushy post. :)
- During random dance parties with Aunt Margaret Lillie will attempt a head bang.
- The words I hear every morning when Lillie wakes up, "mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom". And those words don't stop until the next night when she is finally asleep again.
- Watching "Blue's Clues" with Lillie and watching her follow Steve's actions with her hands.
- The kisses she gives me....puckered lips and all.
- Right when she wakes up from a nap or from sleeping at night. She is super cuddly and usually just wants to hold someone.
- Her laugh is adorable! It's very toothy and pretty dramatic.
- Rocking her to sleep each night.
- Bath time.
- Watching the pure joy spread across her face when she realizes her daddy just pulled up coming home from work. She waves her hand and usually screams to get his attention.
- When we are at the store with my family and she notices one of her aunties or grandma or grandpa in the distance she yells at the top of her lungs so that they will see her. She also yells at a few kids from our ward during sacrament meeting when she spots them. (We are working on that one. :)
- Her latest faces....eyebrows raised, eyes wide open, and lips puckered, and head tilted slightly to the sky.
- Learning new words.
- Watching her learn and figure things out on her own.
- She is also very obedient and I love it when she listens to me because I know she loves me.
- Seeing her reaction whenever we pass something "Dora the Explorer" related at the grocery store.
- Singing "I love you" the "Barney" song with her and her daddy. She hugs us and gives us a kiss at the appropriate times!
- Prayer time....she folds her arms and tries to say "amen" at the end.
- During the sacrament she has to look for the "boys" (the deacons and teachers who are passing the sacrament). She loves getting the bread and water!

We are so excited about it! My mom and I, along with Lillie, have already run a few errands today so that we could drive around in it. Wow, I'll tell you what. Cars sure cost a lot of money. Not only do you have to pay for the car itself but the tax, license and registration, fees, insurance every month and fuel! It adds up so quickly!!! Why is everything so complicated? I sure with tihngs could just be simple but I guess growing up becomes more complicated as time goes on. Just somethig to get used to, I guess.
