I Love to See the Temple

I absolute love the temple! Jake and I are now temple workers and today was our first day...it was an amazing experience. It was such a peaceful feeling to sit in the temple for over five hours and realize God's love for each of his children. I am so grateful that we have a temple so close to us. It is within walking distance of our apartment and we can see the angel Moroni when we take walks around the block.

One of my very good friends got married today and I was in the Provo temple doing temple work while she was in Salt Lake City doing her own work. I just had the most peaceful feeling sweep over me and I knew that the temple is the best, and only place, to get married! :)

I'm Feelin' a Little Loopy

Hey Everyone! So tonight I am feelin' a little loopy. I just got home from work (Guest Services at the Wilkinson Center) and let's just say I didn't do as much work as I should have. :) I pretty much just had a dance party with Ali and Jenny who were sitting at a blue curtain. Wow, I probably shouldn't be put as supervisor anymore....but what they hey! It was fun...:) I came home and Jake was working on his class project. He made an arch out of sugar cubes...so what do I do? I pop one in my mouth and let it just melt right there. Then I reach inside the fridge to find a nice, cold Dr. Pepper waiting for me!!! I swear I could hear it calling my name. Anyway, I had about two glasses worth of that bad boy and decided to blog. So it's 12:00 at night and I am not even tired. However, my body feels all funny and my eyes are kind of twitching.....but other than that I am GREAT!!!!!!! Oooh, Jake's gettin' the Dr. Pepper out again. See ya!

Bummer.

My New Laptop!!!

Yes, you all read the title correctly! I am now corresponding via my new and amazing Dell Laptop! And, it's green just like in the picture! :) This is my Christmas present from Jake. (Yes, I opened it early....) Now the only question is what in the world am I going to get HIM for Christmas?

In other news, I voted today for the very first time ever. It was quite exciting and I must admit that I had no idea what the heck some of the stuff I was voting for meant. The only thing I remember is that Dell "SuperDell" the weirdo from all of the commercials was running for something. Bizarre. I am now watching the Blue color spread across the map of the United States. I hate politics.

But....I HAVE A LAPTOP!!! :)
