Lillie is doing really, really well. She walks now! And she prefers to walk. Man, I feel like I should weigh around 50 pounds just from the exercise I get chasing her around the house. She is super curious and loves to learn new things. The other day at the post office Lillie just stared at the lady stamping the package. She watched her hand move up and down and followed the lady's every move. She just wants to know what is going on all the time! She loves food! She will eat anything, literally! Including sand and other gross things. :) She loves olives, pizza, crackers, ice cream, diet coke (Yeah, I should win the parent of the year award), and anything cold from the freezer. She has six teeth now, four on top and two on bottom and she has the most crooked smile ever! It is so stinkin' cute! She also has an underbite which has me slightly worried that it will look like that forever...however, for now it is adorable! She loves to watch TV and especially likes Dora the Explorer, Micky Mouse Clubhouse, Barney, and Super Why. It is a great break for me!
We are still living in my parent's basement (thanks mom and dad!). We love Lehi and the ward here. Jake teaches Sunday School and I was recently put in with the Laurel's group in young women's. I have loved that because Caroline is a Laurel and I have been able to go to the activities with her.
For the past few weeks I have been feeling really motivated to do things and get things done. I have started a few projects and been really good about keeping up laundry, going on walks, etc. Because of this newly found energy (I have no idea where it came from) I have made a new goal to update this blog more often. I love reading friends' and family's blogs (You are all so clever and witty) and have decided I want to be that way too. :) So for today it was required that I do the mandatory update blog post but the next posts will be better and more entertaining. NOthing huge ever happens to our little family (I guess that is something to be grateful for) so my posts will most likely be little stories, little thoughts, and little pictures of our day-to-day life.
