Wow, blogging sure gets me sometimes. I haven't typed anything out in six months. Six months! I mean, I still keep up with everyone else's blog, I love looking at pictures and finding out how everyone is doing. However, for some reason I just can't sit down and force myself to write. I really need to be writing down the funny stories that happen everyday (and even the panic-ridden ones) for Lillie's sake. I guess I just need to take it a day at a time. Meh, maybe a week at a time.
Lillie is growing up SO fast! She is currently 20 months old and is learning new things every day. One of her favorite things is nursery. She LOVES it! Every Sunday she grabs our hands and drags us over to the nursery room so that she can go and play with her friends and leaders. Last Sunday we had to take her out in between classes to change her diaper and she was so happy to see us and tell us (disclaimer: Lillie can't really say words yet. She just jabbers still in the language that only her family knows) how much fun she is having. I was worried that she might not want to go back after seeing mommy and daddy but as happy as she was to see us, she was just as happy to go back and enjoy the remaining hour of nursery. Can I just say that nursery is the greatest thing ever!
Here is a picture of our Lillie with all of her Toy Story toys...she loves the movies and loves having her toys with her as she watches it. :)
In other good news, we are expecting again!!!! We are super excited and slightly terrified all at the same time. :) Lillie is seriously going to be the best big sister ever! I can see her being so soft and sharing all of her toys with the new baby and then I can also see her carrying the baby by the foot in to the bathrrom while I am taking a shower to inform me that the baby was crying. haha! But really, she is going to be the best sister.
This pregnancy for me has been pretty good so far. I have definitely been more sick that I was with Lillie but still not anywhere near the level where I could complain about. I am always snacky and constantly scouring the pantry for new things to just magically appear. My poor mom is sitll answering pregnancy questions every single day....I didn't think I would have very many the second time around. But I do. The only major thing happening is muscle soreness....oh, and dreams. I don't sleep anymore becuse I wake up either to leg cramping or seriously weird, VIVID dreams. Yeah, so fun! However, that has been all so I am grateful. We still don't know whether or not baby #2 is a boy or girl but we find out next week. I am convinced it is a boy and Jake is convinced it is a girl. Like a lady in our ward said, "Well, one of you will get to tell the other that you were right!" haha! I told Jake that whoever is wrong needs to take the other out to dinner so that way I get dinner out either way. haha! Here is a picture of our sweet baby:
