First Day Blues

Tomorrow is the first day of school.

It is the first year I haven't picked out a cute first-day-outfit, placed my textbooks carefully in my backpack, or gone to bed early full of excitement for the day to come.

Nope. Instead I am avoiding my planner, leaving my textbooks on the shelf, and staying up late watching Iron Chef America.

I hope tonight lasts forever and ever. Not likely.
