So today Jake and I decided that we are "mavericks." Not just any normal "mavericks" but THE "mavericks." We also decided that there are way too many foreigners in the UN. Once Jake and I get elected we are going to get those jobs back into American hands! We're going to get into that UN and think like "mavericks" and do "mavericky" things. Yeah. OK. Just kidding. We love to make fun of Tina Fey's snippit on Sarah Palin...it cracks us up!I guess as a side note....this picture of us was taken at a ward activity January 2008. Our ward went ice-skating and luckily this picture was taken. I hate getting my picture taken and therefore, have very few pictures. So I am glad that we have this one. This is before we were even engaged and it's funny because everyone sees it and thinks it could be our engagement picture. FATE! :)

I still don't get what a Maverick is...even though people have tried to explain it to me like 10 times...oh well...
